Our health is more important than ever. That’s why we’re staying safe by staying home, practicing social distancing, and keeping our bodies and our homes clean. In the United States, most areas are requiring people to wear a respiratory mask while in public. For those who are privileged to work from home, mask wearing is minimal, with the occasional grocery store run or outdoor exercising. But for essential workers, mask-wearing is a requirement while on the clock. Some employees wear their masks for up to 12 hours at a time.
Unfortunately, wearing these masks for extended periods of time can create unwanted skin issues. Bacteria gets trapped underneath the mask and causes breakouts and congested skin. We wanted to share some quick tips to help keep your skin as healthy as possible during this time.
To help heal your skin, start by washing your face with our Flora Cleansing Grains. Lastly, wash your hands! We touch so many items throughout the day: our phones, laptops and keyboards, doorknobs, and even more.
